Located at 170 km of Varna and thus at approximately 2 hours of road (take the exit of Varna towards Shumen), Razgrad is a splendid small pleasant village to visit, very sunny in summer and very green. The town of Razgrad was built on the ruins of the antique Abritus Roman city and figure on Arab charts of the 12th century.
It made good things in life there: the streets and lanes are bordered of picturesque buildings, the city counts its commercial pedestrians and paved streets, its water jets, its small park. To be restored there, several small typical and cordial inns will accommodate you with pleasure to taste the local dishes.
Seeing there in particular : the mosque of Ibrahim Pasha built at the 16th century and which positions in second position on the level of its size in Bulgaria. It comprises visible splendid frescos inside and was built with the stones of the antique Roman city of Abritus.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit its interior today beacuse of work of restoration are in hand there.
