To 140 km of Varna (2 hours of road), at the town of Svechtari , is the national reserve of Sboryanovo. You will be surprised to see some 7 meters tops monticules established everywhere in the valley. They are thracians tombs formerly built underground.

The visit of the place in itself is very pleasant especially in summer : the landscape is very green and almost mystic.

There are 3 thracians tombs to visit including one said “the royal tomb”. First remains only one ruin, the second is rather impressive because still well preserves.

The royal tomb is splendid because is very well preserved. One can clearly see inside : the rooms, murals, entry, doors. One can also make the turn of it because it is completely preserved.

The entry of the reserve is not free and in order to preserve all the richness of the places, a guide is obligatory because the tombs are protected and closed and the royal one with a coded door.

The pictures of the royal tomb as of the second tomb are strictly prohibited and you will have to be equipped with special slippers for the visit of the royal tomb.
