PASSENGER WARNING : CLOSING OF VARNA AIRPORT DURING FOUR MONTHS : FLIGHTS ARE REPORTED ON BURGAS AIRPORT.

According to the magazine the AIR JOURNAL dating from August 11, 2011, Varna International Airport will be closed for a period of four months. The magazine published the following article :

"Due to renovations of the tracks, Varna Airport (east of Bulgaria) will be closed from October 15, 2011 to February 28, 2012. During this period, flights will be transferred to the airport of Bourgas.

At the end of the summer and for nearly four months, the international airport located on the shores of the Black Sea will see no longer use his airplane tarmac. Indeed, his tracks have to be completely renovated.

The flights will therefore be redirected to the airport of Bourgas, situated 130 km from the seaside town. And bus service will be held to allow the tourists to carry. "
